- Anesthesia places arterial line, cordis, and Swan-Ganz after intubation - Position the lights - One at the head looking down into the chest, one up and behind your right shoulder looking into the chest, and the third for the legs. - Tucking arms, blue towel and then side sheet - Lift the sheet back then use the blue towel to secure the arm - Then lift the pad and tuck the sheet. - Bovie pad on each lateral thigh with cord strategicially placed medially and underneath the legs - Steri-drape laterally so Bovie pad doesn't get wet from prep - Lower Extremity Positioning for Harvest - Lift up both legs - Rolled up blanket lengthwise underneath the knees - Generally, this is two blankets lengthwise Then length wise again Then rolled up widthwise so that there is one blanket for each knee - Single unrolled blanket with pink foam for the feet - Tape the feet in place with a long tape across - Towels between the legs to drape off the saphenous harvest site - Place Foley catheter - Shoulder roll - Shave groin, legs, and chest
